Pairing camel tones with a good denim piece is my favorite way to transition into fall. As a categorical minamalist, I love finding color stories that I just know will look good together.

One can always go for the classic trench and skinny jean but I like to switch it up and find pieces that create unique silhouettes that are interesting and unexpected.

This cropped denim jacket and pair of paper bag cargo pants are two of my favorite items in my closet right now.

Denim holds a special place in my heart and I love this cropped take on the classic denim jacket by Zara. I usually throw it over body con dresses and skirts or wear it off the shoulder with a cute pair of pants, as seen here.

I especially love the fit of these cargo pants. The way they cinch the waist *and* the ankles will have you lookin right and tight at all times.

There’s something kinda vintage about a denim dress so whenever I see one, I snatch it up. I spotted this one on ASOS.com and couldn’t resist.

Pairing it with this old Topshop camel coat with pointed white slingbacks from Zara seemed only natural.

The dress also has a low back detail (not shown) that really sealed the deal for me. The attached belt also helps give the denim some shape.
