Discovery

I have been looking for the perfect knee high / over-the-knee boots FOR-EVER. I finally found ones that could do me a solid on Black Friday but I haven’t found an occasion to wear them out since. I like these ones because they actually fit around my thighs instead of being hella spacey and they have gold accents instead of the normal silver that most boots have. For the record, I really have a hard time buying silver anything. I just feel like gold complements my skin tone so much better.

I went “sight- seeing” (aka re – discovering places you took field trips to when you were 12) with some friends over the weekend.
I love this view of the Golden Gate, its so pretty at night.

This is a photo taken at Twin Peaks, which I’ve actually never have been to before. This view is AHH- mazing, you can see the whole entire bay from here. It’s really beautiful.

We went to the beach until it randomly started to pour!

We ate at this amazing Cuban restaurant called Larios. That sugar cane in my Sangria and the sweet plantains were giving me all types of life!

Shredded

If y’all haven’t caught on already, I love distressed jeans! I made these boyfriend jeans myself.
(Heres a tip, after making the tears in your pair of jeans, take a sponge dipped in a bleached solution and lightly tap it around each tear before you throw it in the washer for an even more distressed look.)
I also think I found my new favorite lip color. I wearing MAC lip liner in Vino with “Rih Rih Woo” on top. I love how its a deeper red but still has the pop of a matte red lip.

Nigerian Culture Show

Back when I was in school, I was part of the Nigerian Student Association and the Nigerian Student Dance Group and we started an annual Nigerian Culture Show. It’s always fun and interesting to see how your legacy has played out so my sissy and I went to watch and support.
Wore this fit to celebrate the Nigerian in me. =]
