This past weekend I was able to attend Africa Fashion Week LA (AFWLA). It was a really dope 3 day event showcasing emerging African designers in the area. Unfortunately I was only able to attend one day but I had a great time nonetheless. Check out some pics from the event.

Wore this to go and see Fruitvale Station, an insightful film about a young man that was wrongfully murdered by a police man. It was a tear-jerker for sure and hit extra close to home because it is based on a true story that took place in the Bay Area. If this movie is playing in a town near you, go see it!
