June definitely marks the start of graduation and wedding season, and of course graduation parties! One of my sissies had the privilege of graduation from my alma matter, UC Davis over the weekend so there was no doubt I had to go and support.
What I Wore:
I love the color of this dress! The blue is so electric! I also like how the zipper is long in the back.
I also love these black aviators. I have been looking for a “signature pair” of sunglasses and I found these at a random store in the mall.

If y’all haven’t caught on already, I love distressed jeans! I made these boyfriend jeans myself.
(Heres a tip, after making the tears in your pair of jeans, take a sponge dipped in a bleached solution and lightly tap it around each tear before you throw it in the washer for an even more distressed look.)
I also think I found my new favorite lip color. I wearing MAC lip liner in Vino with “Rih Rih Woo” on top. I love how its a deeper red but still has the pop of a matte red lip.

This outfit was definitely Rihanna-inspired. Y’all know thats my best friend! She loves to wear a kind-of a boyfriend-tee look and dress it up with heels, and I LOVE the mix of tom-boy and girly-girl.
I started off with more of an “athletic -wear” look but ended up changing into heels and going girly. I feel like the older I get, the girlier I am. Probably also has to do with the fact that I played sports essentially since I was out of the womb until I was about 21. The is the first time in my life where I wear whatever I want, eat whatever I want, and work out whenever I want.

** A note about these shorts- they were originally dark jeans and took FOREVER to get all the way white. I left them in bleach overnight for two nights in a row, and while they are super cute, the bleach did compromise the quality of the shorts…just a word of caution.
I think it is still worth it though, I just have to step into them carefully, lol!
Vegas has A LOOOOOT of tomfoolery goin on there!

It was a struggle trying to find a high waisted swim suit, let me tell ya! I originally wanted a hot pink bottom but it was sold out at both TopShop and American Apparel and I couldn’t find any hot pink ones on ASOS…but I ended up falling in love with this mint one, especially the way it pops on my skin. (if I see a pink one though, im snatching it up quick fast!)
Big Sean did his thing, I was hoping to see his gf Naya Rivera though…girl crush alert!
